Where do your products come from?

All our products come from very reputable manufacturers all over the world, including Taiwan and China. To select our suppliers our directors personally inspected the products of more than 20 manufacturers worldwide (including many of those now supplied by some competitors) before settling on the ranges we offer on the basis of consistent top quality, latest technology, reliable UK warranty and reasonable pricing.

What if I need parts, how long will I have to wait?

We hold the majority of parts in stock for quick delivery should the need arise, otherwise they can be quickly ordered from our suppliers

What is the minimum water pressure needed for the showers?

We recommend a pressure of at least 1.5 bars on the hot and cold water systems for combi boilers, 3 bars or so for gravity-fed systems. If you feel your water pressure may be too low, you may need to install a pump. Your plumber will be able to advise you. All our steam showers have been built to be compatible with combi boilers. How long have you been in business?

The Shower Company.com has now been in business since 2002. Our mission for the past 5 years has been to provide the highest quality steam showers, massage baths and other bathroom products online, at the keenest prices anywhere in the UK and Ireland.

Do you deliver overseas, including to Ireland and if so what is the cost?

Yes, we do deliver overseas. Delivery costs would be quoted on request.

What are the conditions of the See-at-Home Guarantee?

We know that buying a product like this is a big decision, and you want to make sure you know exactly what you are getting for your money. To set your mind at ease, if you are unable to travel to our Morecambe or Tunbridge Wells showrooms to view our ranges in person (including working models), all our products are covered by our See-At-Home Guarantee.

If you are unhappy about any aspect of the product when it arrives, we will collect it, and give you a full refund with no reduction for transportation charges. All we ask is that you let us know within 14 days of the product arriving.

Who is the warranty with and what does it include?

All our products come complete with a warranty from The Shower Company.com on all parts and components, including electronic and working parts.

These ranges are specially designed for easy home replacement of any component and full replacement instructions will be included. There is very little to go wrong with these units and only a very small proportion of people ever need to claim on their warranty with us. We keep a large stock of spare parts available for all models and years of experience with these products allow us to diagnose any issues quickly and resolve them promptly.

Will the product fit through my doorway?

Yes. All products are packaged in multiple, strong, conveniently sized boxes, allowing them to be transported around and through all standard sized doorways.

Do you offer technical support?

Yes. If you have any installation queries, please contact our installation expert on technical@theshowercompany.com. Alternatively, technical support is available either via our customer hotline on 0800 018 4845. You can access this via the login box on the main header on each page of the website by entering your username and password which will be issued to you on placing your order.

How do I connect my iPod / CD player to my steam shower?

All our steam shower models include a wireless audio transmitter (up to 30m range). Simply plug it in to the headphone socket of any audio player in the house (e.g. CD/MP3 player, iPod or even your computer) and its output will play through the steam shower's built-in speakers.

Do these units work in hard water areas?

We have yet to have any recorded feedback on this being a problem, but if you are concerned about this having an effect in the long term, inline water softeners can be fitted to avoid damage to the steam generator, water jets and shower heads. Your plumber can advise you.
